Kensington Orbit Fusion Wireless Trackball

Excellent
Kensington has released their second completely new trackball this year, the Kensington Orbit Fusion Wireless Trackball. This is a clear competitor for the popular Elecom models. The Kensington sets itself apart with its large scroll ring, larger ball and comfortable ergonomic body shape. Wireless via a 2.4GHz USB Dongle, it also comes with USB A to USB C adapter.

Outstanding Editors Choice
The Kensington Expert is the trackball that I have used for many years. Yes, it’s one of my favorites, so expect nothing but praise! This is a winner, especially for professional users.

Kensington SlimBlade Trackball

Outstanding Editors Choice
The Kensington SlimBlade could very well be called the Ferrari of the trackballs. Expensive, it looks utterly amazing and is full of cutting edge technology. I used to use it as my daily driver for many years, and I love it, but it takes a daredevil to actually buy this as your first trackball.

If you are travelling and still want that trackball comfort, maybe the Kensington Orbit Wireless Mobile is a good choice. Wireless, small and it doesn’t move (like all trackballs actually) this is a great companion for people that often set up their laptop on a small Starbucks table.

Kensington Orbit Optical

OK
The Kensington Orbit Optical is another beginner’s trackball. Similar to the Logitech Marble (ambidextrous design, low price) but also different. Personally, I would go for the Logitech Marble, but if you’re looking for an affordable, simple, comfortable trackball to do basic computing (browsing internet, email, writing Word documents, etcetera) this could be your first trackball mouse.
